You have been in my thoughts and prayers all week - knowing how difficult Sunday will be. Today, as I was preparing my Sunday School lesson for senior high girls, I opened the ec magazine and was so suprised to see Hannah’s Story! Tomorrow morning 15 young women will be remembering the example Hannah left for all of us. The joy and peace that comes from having Jesus as our Lord
“Never be the Same.”
Thank you, Hannah Sobeski-I will never forget.
Thinking of Hannah this entire week and especially today.
“To God Be the Glory, great things He hath done…”
I saw your video tonight at chuch and it touched me a whole lot!! Do you know jacob robinson he used to go to my church i think but it was a long time ago and i will pray for your family still !!!!!
Dear Hannah,
I know that you can’t see this, but I will pray for you tonight and the Lord will share the message. I saw your video in my bible study, and you have changed my perspective of the Lord. After I watched that video, I wanted to fly to heaven to give you a hug and say Thank You for saving my soul today. I am now truly a child of God. I wish that you could have made it through your battle, but Jesus had a very special plan for you in heaven. I love you Hannah!
I pray for you every night and every day.
Dear Hannahs Family,
I just wanted to say that I read about Hannahs story in my Bible
study book. I was so touched and encouraged by Hannahs strength. I will be praying for your Family .
Sarah
Dearest Debbie,
It was so wonderful to see you and your sweet mother last night. Thank you for telling the Dot Lyles Circle about your book . I have been thinking about you all day, and thanking God for your family’s precious faith and your willingness to follow Him– and to tell the world Hannah’s story. You are a blessing to me and to so many.
I thought last night about a sermon I heard a few years ago about Noah building the alter to worship God after the flood–he had lost almost all he knew, so he wasn’t thanking God for what he had, he was thanking God for WHO he had. Thank you for helping me remember this.
With love,
Evelyn Ritchie
I am praying for you every day and night. It was so amazing to see how she was trying to tell people about what she had. And other stuff while she was dieing. She just touched my life to know that if you are in situation just pray and God will get us throught it.

Hi Deb, I know you don’t remember me, but we spoke briefly at the mother daughter banquet at Bessie rd Baptist church when you told us Hannahs story, you gave me words of healing about my dying grandfather, I just want you to know you are an Godsend to everyone who has the blessing to meet you, and I just wish I had been able to know Hannah. She is a light from God that nothing can ever extinguish. We love you all, God Bless You.
Mrs. Sobeski,
Today I met you at the post office. Thank you so much for your kind words. I found it very overwhelming that I ran into you because I had just found my daughters Hannah bracelet in the console of my car when I was picking her up from school then drove to the post office and met you. I kept up with Hannah’s journey and continue to pray for your family. So nice to meet you! Thank you for the dvd. I will watch it with my family. P/S I am so glad you have the Pilot :)!!!!
Hi Cousin, Deb!
I retired at the first of the year and have now been reading Hannah’s Hope. Reading it has been like a devotional for me. It has been so inspiring! You guys are doing such a great job with Hannah’s Hope Ministries!
I saw your mom a few weeks ago in Walmart at Beckley. She told me about the book you wrote. I will be reading it as well and look forward to it. Your mom also mentioned as we were hurriedly checking out someabout a play scheduled sometime soon in the Beckley area. If you have dates and further information, please let me know. I would like to attend.
“I can do all things through Christ, who strengthenth me.” - Phil 2:13
Tell Clay hello for me. God bless you all. Love in Christ, Teresa
Hi, I am honored to be allowed to sign this Guestbook. I saw Hannah when Amy Woods did her interview and I saw the news when she won the Homecoming Queen. BUT, that is all I new about her until I went to a Pain Seminar where Dr. Corso talked his last hour about Hannah. As you all know there wasn’t a dry eye there that day. I sobbed hirendously that day. That’s when I really learned of Hannah. I got the book and all the DVD’s and CD. I also bought 2 of the bracelets. She was such an amazing child of Gos as you well know !!! Since that day I think of her so often, and I always will !!! I’m a nurse at SRHS and i listen to the CG alot of days on my way to work. I wish so terribly bad that I had known her story before she went to her Father !!!

My daughter +Amy+ was killed in a car accident on April 27,2008. Amy was 23, 7 days before the accident she attended servive at SCC and asked Christ to be her Lord and Savior. The Lord had been working in her life for months before so strongly that it was almost visible. God is Good. I want to thank Debbie for praying for me and family through this difficult journey of grief (one mother for another mother.) Thank you so much Debbie for a copy of the new book, it has brought comfort to my broken heart. I still grieve but I have hope in The Lord Jesus Christ and a reunion in Heaven with Amy as you do with your precious Hannah. You have been in my prayers also. God has blessed us and God is Good.
Greetings from a SSHS alum! What a tremendous story about your Hannah and what an amazing journey of faith. You and Mickey look fabulous and your family is precious. I am in Roanoke VA where I’ve lived since graduating from VT in 1984. I’ve been married almost 22 years and have a junior & senior in high school. Although not to the extent it’s been in your family, cancer has touched our lives many times and is a great vehicle to use to share our faith in the Lord.
I see your ministry meets weekly for prayer, and I’ll be logging a request for my sister Monica. Clayton may remember her. She lost her 7 yr old daughter last month, and the cause of death is unknown. We are grieving deeply & appreciate your prayer.
In Christ, Susan
thank you for this awesome website!! God is speaking through you. thank you
What an incredible young lady Hannah was. And what a wonderful tribute her mother is to her memory. I was at Spartanburg Community Church last night and was so moved by Debbie’s words. Hannah will always live through your ministering.
Dear Jesus, it is an amazing privilege and blessing You give us to share about the abundant grace You continue to pour upon our lives. Father, I thank You for the body of Christ and for the continual encouragement and strength You give us . Every believer has been created for a specific assignment on this earth. Father, I pray that each of us will always be about “spurring one another on toward love and good deeds.” Thank You so much for the blessing of this website, the continual encouragement it is and the way You are using it to be a blessing in the lives of others. There is never a message that we don’t read and there is never a prayer request that we don’t take to Your throne. Thank You Father for allowing us to partner with You.
Thank you Hope for sharing about the You Tube web site with Jason Crabb. NOt only did I listen to My Redeemer lives, I also listened to some of his testimony..awesome is all I can say..THANK YOU!!!
I was watching Channel 16 tonight and saw the story of Hannah. I never knew this but was so thrilled to know that you have this website and are keeping her legacy alive. She is just another angel God has chosen to be in Heaven. Wow what a testimony coming from an 18 year old girl. Thank you for sharing her life with us and my prayer is God’s continually holding your hand and your heart until you see her again. God bless you.
Debbie,
You are really a strong mother to be able to withstand what you have been through. I am listening to you on the Angel channel with the program A TIME FOR HOPE, and am amazed by your testemony. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. Hannah was a very beautiful girl. May God Bless you in your life. Also the book.
Just watched you on Time for Hope! God bless you as you continue to minister to so many countless souls!

i watched the video of hannah’s journey at church, and that video really said something to me….it sent out a message.
God Bless You, and thank you.
Dear Mrs. Sobeski,
I wanted to thank you for coming to Oakland Elementary and sharing your story about Hannah with us this past week. I immediately went to the library and checked out Hannah’s Hope and am reading it now. I plan to read your book this summer since it is longer. I am amazed at Hannah’s strength and plan to share this with my children. My son was at the mini-relay and when he finished listening to recording of Hannah he said “that’s sad”. I’m so glad that he was able to hear your message and hear Hannah’s voice. I visited her caringbridge site when she was sick and worried about her. I’m so glad that I had the priviledge of listening to your message and reading about her. She was truly and angel.
Thanks,
Bonnie
Deb & Hope, you will never know what this web site means to me. It’s amazing that you always have the right words at the right time. God Is Good!!!
Deb, I just want you to know I think of you often. It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 3 years now. I was thinking this past week at how so much “good” has come from what we’ve all considered “bad”. Even besides Hannah’s own testimony and journey, so many have been blessed by you… and others… in what you’ve been led to share through all of this. God indeed has gotten, and is continuing to get, the glory… and that says so much about who you are… who your family is. Praise God for that!
Please don’t ever stop writing (and posting) your prayer journal entries here… I can’t tell you how it’s blessed my heart over and over again, to be reminded that even in the valley, God is good! I can’t help but compare your entries… your personal conversations with the LORD… to those of King David’s. What a blessing, and what comfort there is in praising our Saviour, on the mountain tops as well as in the difficult times. Just like David, you do that… and my spirit is always renewed when I come here and read. Thank you for allowing us to share in your thoughts and prayers.
Please know that I am praying for you, still. God bless you, my sister!
Thank you Debbie for continuing to journal!! I know it’s not always easy and you have so many wonderful things you are doing to serve our wonderful Jesus but I am always so very very blessed to read your hope-inspired words of encouragment and love for for Our One and Only! My Dear, you have no idea of the beauty and the need of the spiritual God-given gift you have…that can lift one from often-times perceived despair to hopefulness.
I loved your scripture for today!
“Set me free from my prison that I may praise your name. Then the righteous will gather about me because of Your goodness to me.” Psalm 142:7
Thank you for your truths and thank you for being sweet Hannah’s Mother! God specifically called you to be her Mom and He could never be disappointed in you. He knows just how special you and Hannah are. I believe that’s why He picked you for this journey. There’s no doubt that on a very special day He will say “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
Blessings!
wow! great insight. I can tell by the things you write that you truly do walk with the Lord. Isn’t it amazing how God can teach us and is with us even in the mundane things of life?
I came upon your website and love it.
I have been so touched by hannahs story. i could not tell you enough the impact it has made in my life. I am so excited to see how hannahs battle affects the lives of many other people. I participating in judgement house at my church( carrville baptist church) and i have prayed that give me the ability to portary hannah as realistically as possible. The scene i am in is tough because someone rejects my offer of Jesus . But i also have victory in the next scene with a young girl. I thank whoever idea of making hannahs story public because without it i would be hopeless. Her life will never be erased from my heart and mind.
I went to the judgement house and it showed me Hannah’s story! It was so sad, I got saved tonight! Thank you Hannah && your family! Now, I will try to tell others about jesus! Anyone can change, Just wanted to let everyone know that! Alot of people didn’t think I could change. Anybody can!
My husband and I pastor Whitmire Church of God and brought a group of 25 with us to the Judgement House. What an incredible story, for you see we had a son who we lost the day before christmas 22 years ago due to SIDS. Our loss was great as was yours, but it was such a blessing to see that your faith had stood the test as ours did, God has no doubt blessed you in more ways than you could ever imagine.
For you see several of our youth gave their hearts to the Lord that night we came which was Saturday October 24th, and there were others who wanted to rededicated their lives and one of those youths was my youngest son Caleb who shared with me on the way home that he rededicated his life to the Lord. He is not my only child, my daughter and other son are both serving the Lord in college and God is using them both. I just wanted you to know what a wonderful testimony and pray that God will continue to bless your work for him in great and mighty ways, which I see he already has.
Be Blessed and you and your family are in our prayers!!!!!!
thank you. i went to judgement house last night and because of this beautiful girl and her faith i and multiple others came to know the lord. i was told just last week i had a tumer in my lower abdomen about where hannahs is. im 17. im so scared but she gives me hope. she is realy heavens homcoming queen. my friends and i have thought it would be nice to in honor of hannah have her as our homecoming queen. but the school wont allow it but we have made the choice that at the homecoming game she will be there with us and she is our homecoming queen if only in our hearts

I am a nursing student and came to Spartanburg Regional as part of a clinical rotation. I am so excited that health care providers, nurses, and hospital personel now have a way to communicate their faith in God and their willingness to pray, and it is embraced by so many of us with open arms. It is my honor to pray with a patient. I am so thankful as are many of my classmates, that this was developed as we each have strong faith in God. When we came to Spartanburg Regional, were were told of the Hannah’s Hope symbol, it’s significance in our career paths, and each of us truely embraces it. I would like to see this profound symbol used accross the nation one day. Thank you for understanding the struggles faced in sharing faith, and addressing it with such an amazing communication tool. It opened a door for myself and many other people. Hannah’s life is a beautiful testimony to God’s Grace, and she has touched so many lives. It is amazing how Hannah work lives on through so many people!!!! I will certainly carry Hannah with me throughout my career of love and compassion, prayer and HOPE!!!!
